Terms of Use — Dish AI

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Dish AI mobile application. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Dish AI analyzes photos of dishes and menus using artificial intelligence to generate recipes, including ingredients, quantities, cooking steps, and plating suggestions. Free accounts include a limited number of scans; a Premium subscription unlocks additional scans and features.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dish AI. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

AI‑Generated Content

Recipes, ingredient quantities, cooking times, and plating suggestions are generated by AI based on visual analysis of your photos. They are estimates, not verified or guaranteed to exactly match the original dish. Always use your own judgment regarding food safety, cooking temperatures, allergens, and ingredient substitutions. Dish AI is not a substitute for professional culinary or nutritional advice.

Subscriptions & Billing

Dish AI offers optional Premium subscriptions, billed monthly or annually through the App Store or Google Play.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's respective refund policies, as we do not process payments directly.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Attempt to reverse‑engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the App's functionality or security.
Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
Use automated systems to access the App in a way that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce.

Intellectual Property

The Dish AI app, its design, logo, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Recipes generated for you are yours to use freely for personal purposes.

Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or that AI‑generated recipes will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dish AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any outcome related to following an AI‑generated recipe.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
